Le caméscope utilise en natif le format de fichier Apple QuickTime™ (MOV) pour les enregistrements en mode HD ou SD, ce qui simplifie les flux de production dans Final Cut Pro™.

Le GY-HM750CHE prend également en charge les formats de fichiers HD MP4 et SD AVI pour garantir la compatibilité avec les autres systèmes de montage non linéaire.La gestion des deux cartes mémoire autorise un enregistrement en continu (sans interruption) ou un enregistrement simultané pourdes sauvegardes et des copies instantanées.
